With an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 14.89 lakh, Honda Cars India has introduced the new Honda City Sport edition. It has minor exterior and interior changes and is positioned above the base City V CVT variant.
Compared to the V CVT version, the Honda City Sport Edition costs about Rs 49,000 more. It has every feature available in the V version. The City Sport also gets leatherette upholstery for the steering, gear knob, and seats, as well as a seven-color ambient lighting system.

Fog lamps, keyless entry and go, automatic headlamps, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are some of the main features. Only a CVT gearbox and paddle shifters are available for this model. Additionally, it has camera-based ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) technology, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane assist, autonomous emergency braking, and auto high beam, among other features.
Nevertheless, the new City Sport lacks a few features found in the VX and ZX models. It is devoid of a digital driver’s display, automatic wipers, lane watch camera, electric sunroof, and auto-dimming IRVM. Furthermore, the City Sport lacks tweeters and rear AC vents.

City Sport Exterior and Interior Changes
A number of the new Honda City Sport Edition’s design features are blacked out. It has an Exclusive Sport emblem, a glossy black shark fin antenna, a black trunk lip spoiler, and a sporty black grille. The sedan has blacked-out ORVMs and multi-spoke grey alloy wheels.


The interior of the new City Sport is all black, with Premium Leather Black Seats and red stitching on the steering wheel, door inserts, and seats. The roof lining and pillars are finished in black. The air conditioning vents are gloss black, and the dashboard has contrasting red trim.
Specifications
The well-proven 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated gasoline engine powers the Honda City Sport. It is mated to a CVT automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. This engine can generate 145 Nm of torque and 119 horsepower. It is said to provide 18.4 kmpl of ARAI-certified fuel efficiency.
